"Give hawkers Group D jobs instead of removal": Subhendu Adhikari

Leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari has criticized the West Bengal state government's haste in removing hawkers, questioning their priorities amidst unfulfilled job promises.

Adhikari remarked, "Why is the state government in such a hurry to remove hawkers? The state government had promised to provide jobs but it could not provide jobs. Now if hawkers have to be removed, then at least give them Group D jobs, the problem will end automatically."
